Color of the Year

It’s the luminous blue of ancient ice caves, the fleeting shimmer on a mountain lake at dawn, the silent strength of a glacier holding its ground against the sun. Glacial Blue is more than a color; it’s a feeling—a reminder of the clarity, resilience, and wonder that Alaska’s wild places inspire in me.

Through my lens, I hope this color invites you to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the world around us. May it remind us all of what’s worth protecting, and the beauty that endures even in the coldest, quietest corners of the earth.

What color speaks to you this year? I’d love to hear your reflections.
