After an adventureous helicopter flight into the heart of Alaska, I found myself on the edge of the Colony Glacier, my campsite nestled beneath the watchful gaze of ancient peaks. That evening, as the world quieted and the air grew crisp, I was gifted a rare moment: the moon rising above the glacier, its gentle light spilling across the ice and painting the landscape in silver and blue.

Standing there, camera in hand, I felt a profound sense of gratitude—not just for the chance to witness such beauty, but for the stillness and clarity that only these wild places can offer. The mountains, silent and steadfast, seemed to invite reflection and remind me of our deep connection to the natural world. This image is more than a photograph; it’s a meditation on solitude, wonder, and the quiet power of nature to heal and inspire.
